Sycamore School Names Diane Borgmann as Head of School

The Board of Trustees is proud to announce that on Dec. 3, it unanimously selected Diane Borgmann as the new Head of School for Sycamore School.

Diane is currently the Lower School Director at Greensboro Day School in Greensboro, North Carolina. She previously served as Head of Lower School and Associate Head of School at Sycamore. Diane's intimate knowledge of and commitment to gifted education makes her a natural selection to lead the school. Her knowledge and contacts in the gifted community along with her dynamic, passionate and forward-thinking personality will be a valuable asset in Sycamore's continuing efforts to becoming one of the most recognized leaders in the education of gifted children within the United States.

The Board would like to thank everyone who took the time to participate in the selection process and provide feedback to the Search Committee. In particular, the Board would like to thank Nancy Farrar and the other members of the Advisory Committee for their thoughtful and dedicated leadership these last few months.
